Voluntary Pool Reporting Program

Mosquitoes pose a significant public health risk by transmitting diseases such as West Nile Virus, Zika, and dengue fever. Stagnant water is one of the primary breeding grounds for these pests, and swimming pools—whether actively used or abandoned—can become ideal habitats for mosquitoes if not properly maintained. By reporting the status of your swimming pool, you’re helping our mosquito abatement team focus efforts where they’re needed most, reducing mosquito populations and protecting the health and safety of your community.

Why We Need Your Voluntary Declaration
The voluntary pool reporting program enables us to prioritize inspections and treatments in areas that may pose higher mosquito breeding risks. This is particularly important for abandoned or neglected pools, which can quickly become hotbeds for mosquito activity. By providing this information, you are assisting in our proactive measures to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases and creating a healthier, safer environment for all residents. Your participation is completely voluntary and plays a vital role in protecting your neighborhood. We will contact residents in order to schedule site inspections.
